The Vaughan Williams Memorial Library will be extending its days of opening from 19 July 2021.
The Library will now be open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11am to 4pm.
We want all of our users to feel comfortable in our space, so we shall be retaining our social distancing measures for the time being.
The number of concurrent readers will continue to be limited, and we shall continue to use a booking system. If you wish to visit, please email [email protected]; you can book a place for a whole day or a half day (either 11am–1.15pm or 1.45pm–4pm). Please book no later than 5pm on the day before your visit.
We politely request that users continue to wear masks while in the Library, unless they are exempt.
If you wish to visit briefly to pick up or drop off a book, you do not need to book a time slot, but please let us know when you intend to do this so it can be arranged.
Please contact us if you are unable to visit between Wednesday and Friday, as we may be able to open on other days by special arrangement.
If you would like more information on the precautions the Library is taking to keep you safe, please email [email protected]
Our online archives continue to be accessible online and free to all.
Please email [email protected] or [email protected] if you have any questions, or for further information.
